Arrested & Served with a Warrant for Accident Involving Injuries #Laredo

On 3/14/19, Juan Antonio Osorio was arrested at the 4700 block of Maher Ave and served with a warrant for Accident Involving Injuries Felony 3. He was remanded to Webb County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

On 2/15/19, at approximately 7:58 PM, the Laredo Police Department responded to an accident involving injuries at the 10700 block of International BLVD. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim who had been riding a black in color Harley Davidson Motorcycle lying in the middle of the roadway. According to witnesses, a white in color F-150 had cutoff the motorcycle failing to yield the right of way while turning left. After the accident, the F-150 fled the scene. The initial accident report was taken and the case was transferred to the Crimes Against Persons (CAPERs) Unit for follow up due to the severity of the injuries sustained by the victim.

Through the course of the investigation and use of surveillance camera footage, the suspect vehicle was able to be identified and located at the 2800 block of Centenario Dr. The owner of the vehicle was located and identified as 56 year old, Juan Antonio Osorio. He was eventually identified as the driver of the F-150 at the time of the accident. The case was then presented to the District Attorney’s Office who determined there was sufficient evidence to secure a warrant of arrest for Juan.
